FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

2024 Ho’olaule’a is Pau; the below information applies to the 2025 event with updates to occur

What is the festival about?  Celebrating the Hawaiian and Pacific Islander Culture.  Everyone is welcome free of charge to a variety of cultural food, crafts, information, and a stage with entertainment.

When is the festival?  The 32nd Ho’olaule’a will occur in Fall 2025; more details to follow.

Where is the festival going to be held?  To Be Determined.

I’m an interested vendor.  What should I do?  Vendor information, applications, entertainment, and other details in development.

What day and time will vendors be able to setup?  To Be Determined.

What is the layout of the festival area?  Under development.

Is there a Festival admission charge for the general public?  No.  It is entirely FREE!

Is there a Ho’olaule’a T-Shirt for sale?  We will design and promote the shirt by mid-2025.

Where are the public parking areas for the festival?  Under Development.

What kinds of entertainment will there be?  Focus on Hawaiian & Pacific Islander music and hula along with a Keiki Zone for the kids.  We will once again invite our Pacific Island cousins to perform along with Native American organizations.  We will have a schedule of times during the day posted on this website and sent out as it is finalized for when each entertainer will be performing.

I’m an entertainer and interesting in performing.  How can I get more information?  Our Entertainment committee will develop a line-up for each day.  More to follow.

Will there be a raffle drawing?  Do I have to be present to win?  There will be a raffle drawing occurring several times throughout the event.

You must be present to win and all prizes can be picked up at the LVHCC Hospitality Tent.

Will there be any alcohol sales?  Under Development.

What kinds of food will be available?  A diverse culture of Hawaiian and other Pacific Islander food with other ethnic food types as our food vendor list is filled out.

What is the Keiki Zone?  An area that the children can enjoy themselves with activities and cultural games. 

Will there be a live animal petting zoo?  No.  

Will there be a car show?  No.

Will an ATM be available? Possibly. 

Will there be drones / unmanned aircraft?  To be Determined.

Will there be contests?  Can I participate?  There will be various Keiki contests and games in the Keiki Zone and a Ho’olaule’a raffle.

Is there a hotel I can make reservations at for the event?  To be Determined.
