SUMMER EXPLORATION SERIES

The Kamehameha Schools camp application for  Summer 2025 period will open 2 January – 15 February 2025;  please go to https://www.ksbe.edu/apply/hoomakaikai to apply.

Eligibility: Children must be entering 6th grade, be a new applicant, be a Nevada resident, must not be currently enrolled full-time at a Kamehameha campus, and must be able to fully participate in the program.

Ancestry verification

Kamehameha Schools’ admissions policy is to give preference to applicants of Hawaiian ancestry to the extent permitted by law. If you would like your child to be considered under that policy, your child’s Hawaiian ancestry must be verified by Kamehameha’s Ho‘oulu Verification Services.

Awarding of three 2024 LVHCC grants ($500 each)

Ho’omaika’i ‘ana ia ‘oe to the 2024 recipients of the LVHCC Kamehameha Schools’ Ho’omaka’ika’i Exploration grants!  Each winner received a $500 award for this summer’s Explorations camp.  The winners: Arian Alaka’i Vith, Dezmin Hurley, and Andrew-Jace Chong.  Hulo!
